Once again, we kick off the year surrounded by great Unstoppables: our fundraising promotors.

Since January we’ve seen some very varied Fundraising Initiatives, like the musical bingo organized by Sorry Mommy Tattoo; the upcoming musicians concert in Pollença; the sporting event at Complex Aquàtic in Vilafranca, the charity gala of Tyrus association in Xàtiva, Ainara’s fundraising dinner and the information stands of ASOLECES.

Various events also decided to do their bit by means of crowdfunding with the migranodearena Foundation or by selling charity products.

Altogether, they have contributed over 32,000 € to our fight so that, one day, we can achieve our aim: to make leukaemia and other oncological blood diseases curable in 100% of cases.

A big thank you to Mònica Serret, an Unstoppable Promotor, who had a transplant in 2020 and since then has given us her involvement and help, preparing various fundraising initiatives with proceeds going to all our projects.

She started on her “cancerversary” in 2021 with the initiative  «Flocs de neu», and then, for two years, managed to get the incredible «Pastorets Imparables contra la Leucemia» in Vilanova i la Geltrú to support our cause, and, finally, this year, did us the honour of setting up a fundraising stall on her birthday at the school where she works.

Once again, our thanks to the most UNSTOPPABLE promotors!

At Fundraising Initiatives, we began 2024 alongside schools, spaces to raise awareness and promote the importance of values and solidarity from an early age.

In this first quarter of the year, we’ve already been lucky enough to receive several one-time donations and initiatives like the one by Vedruna School in La Palma del Comtat, where they raised over 3,200 € with their charity run, and talks to explain the work we do at various schools in the Blanes area by Albert González, a bone marrow donor, and Miranda Sancho, an Unstoppable against acute myeloid leukaemia.

Then, together with the Fundación para la Creativación, we’ve set up «La Descoberta dels Valors» project aimed at secondary schools in Catalonia, as of year three, with the aim of reflecting on values and then coming up with innovative proposals to increase the number of bone marrow donors in the REDMO registry and raise funds for the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Foundation.

We’re looking for new secondary schools who’d like to join us; help us by sharing the registration information you’ll find HERE.
